One of the major things Pedro's was doing out at Cyclocross Nationals in Bend, Oregon was washing bikes, lots of bikes. Muddy, muddy bikes. Hundreds upon hundreds of them. All day. In the video below, Petar Tomich talks us through a standard "triage bike wash." He's dressed like an Alaskan crab fisherman and like a crab fisherman, he is soaking wet, cold, and suffering, but still cranking away.
Pedro's was there for everyone, all the riders, pro and amateur alike. Did freshly re-crowned National Champ Katie "Straight Outta" Compton get VIP treatment? Ya, maybe a little bit. But she earned it.
Adam Myerson was shocked that Pedro's President Matt Simpson and VP Matt Bracken were out there washing bikes all day.
